Marcela
FRONT OFFICE
Marcela has been in the dental field for the past 5 years as a treatment coordinator and dental assistant. Previously, she worked in a hospital and was a medical assistant. Marcela is passionate about making sure the patients receive quality service and attention from our front office.On weekends, Marcela enjoys doing outdoor activities like hiking and going to concerts.
TANYA
FRONT OFFICE
Tanya is a part of our front office team and has been a part of the dental community for over 15 years. Apart from helping patients chairside, she also coordinates patient care and treatment. She truly cares about her patients and wants to help them feel great about their smiles. In her free time, she enjoys being with her son outdoors such as camping, off-roading, and going to Disneyland.
BEHGUM
BACK OFFICE
Behgum is a part of our back-office team who achieved a Cum Laude award for her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Cape Town, South Africa. After moving to California, she decided she wanted to pursue medicine. She is currently a Pre-Med student and cannot wait to become a Doctor and help her own patients one day. She is compassionate and kind, with great attention to detail. Outside the office she enjoys dance, art and playing the guitar in her free time. She also loves the gym, nature and hiking.
MAY
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Maimona (May) is one of our lovely surgical dental assistants who received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry from Egypt in 2015. After moving to California, she decided to pursue her dental hygiene credentials. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, practicing nail art, and dancing.
HAFSA
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Hafsa has a Bachelor’s degree from MSA University in Cairo majoring in advertising and public relations. After moving to the United States, she decided to make a career switch and attended dental assistant school. She values making personal interactions with the patients and hopes to create a comfortable space for the patients. Hafsa enjoys working out and exploring new places and cuisines on weekends.
JOSH
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Josh has been a dental assistant for 6 years and he is especially experienced with helping patients with dental anxiety or patients that have had negative experiences in the past. His gentle, friendly character will have you leave with a smile. In his free time, Josh enjoys drawing, skateboarding, and playing sports.
Karen
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Originally from Korea, Karen grew up in Irvine and has graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. Following graduation, Karen returned to California in order to prepare for dental school. Karen is passionate about learning more about dentistry and patient care and hopes to become a dentist who provides compassionate, holistic care to the patients in the future. Outside the office, she enjoys dancing, cooking, and exploring restaurants around Orange County.
BILL
OFFICE MANAGER
Bill has been in the dental field since 2004. He began his career as a graphic designer, since then he has held several positions within a dental office, and has been an office manager for the last ten years. His experience in patient care, insurance, and customer service is an asset to our office. His passion for helping patients shows in his willingness to go above and beyond.
He lives in Lake Forest. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his twins going to the park or the movies or just playing games.
He is available during office hours to help or answer any questions or concerns you may have. Consider him your personal concierge at Irvine Endodontics.
DIA
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Dia was born and raised in Thailand. She moved here in 2004. She is fluent in reading and writing in Thai, Laos, and Hmong. Dia started learning English at the age of 13 years-old; learning English was not the easiest, however, she learned to use flash cards to help her memorizing words and relating it to images or arts that she drew in the back of each flash cards.
Dia started eighth grade and then went on to graduated high school in a small town called Merced, Central California. After high school, she then transferred to California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Dia earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Management and Human Resource.
Prior to working as a Dental Assistant and Marketer here, she worked with five hundred fortune corporation companies for several years. However, Dia has always loved the interactions with people. Dia absolutely valued the interactions with people because she connected on a personal level with individual people. In which, she did not often get the interactions with people while being with corporation companies. That was when she decided to make a change of career and here she is very happy with Irvine Endodontics!
