Perfection is Our Practice
In endodontics, perfection has measurable criteria. It means finding every canal, removing all infected tissue, eliminating bacteria completely, and sealing the space so thoroughly that reinfection becomes unlikely. It means the tooth functions normally for decades, not just years.
Achieving this requires more than steady hands and good intentions. It takes continuous learning, investment in technology, and the patience to do things right rather than fast.
Dr. Dianat’s commitment to perfection is why we were among the first practices in Orange County to invest in both GentleWave and Fotona laser systems. These aren’t expensive machines we bought to impress anyone. They represent our belief that if a technology can improve outcomes even by a few percentage points, our patients should have access to it.
The GentleWave system costs more per procedure than traditional methods. But when research shows it reaches and cleans significantly more canal anatomy than conventional techniques, that investment makes sense. Every improvement represents someone’s tooth saved, someone’s pain prevented.
Our Fotona LightWalker laser adds time to each procedure as we carefully disinfect every canal. We could skip this step and still achieve good results. But good isn’t perfect. The laser’s ability to eliminate bacteria in microscopic tubules where chemical irrigants can’t penetrate transforms a good root canal into an excellent one.
